Bamiyans Peaceful Buddha?

the afghan muslims blew up the 2 buddha statues at bamiyan. while buddha was a man of extreme kindness and mercy, mohomed was a criminal.
now buddha must be laughing at how mohomed’s muslim gangs are murdering eachother. if you rise by the sword you will die by that same sword.
I wonder whether muslims have heard of this teaching by jesus?

Islam was a remarkably tolerant religion during the medieval period in Europe, whereas Christianity was responsible for killing millions of Jews and nonbelievers. Calling Mohammad a criminal is just talking out of ignorance. Jesus is considered a prophet in Islam, and Mohammad the savior, so yes they have heard Jesus’ teachings. At least research Islam a bit before you insult it as a terrible and violent religion.

I’m sure Buddha would be happy for destroying his statues, he fought against ego including his. not that i agree on that action. neither Mohammed’s closest companions, who liberated Egypt and Afghanistan thousands of years ago, and the sphinx is still there! a Buddhist criminal doesn’t make all Buddhists criminals. i wont pray for you any more because i think you might be the enemy of Buddha and god.

When you point fingers at someone, remember 3 fingers are pointing backwards at you. It was not the Afghan muslims – but a ahandful of terrorists who did that (and held the whole nation in their terror).
Also, extremists and terrorists who kill in the name of religion don’t have a religion – since no religion preaches hate or terror killings. (remember Muslims call Him – Allah the All Merciful)
can you point me in bible where jesus told to worship or make idols. If he ask in bible not to built idols or statues than wouldnt you do that. it our religion and we have to follow this. anyway we are not asking you to follow our religion.If we metion here what you people do wrong according to us than this yahoo space wont be suffice. God is one and there is no God than him.If you people love so much to Buddha why dont you make his idols everywhere in your countries?You can make bigger than what have been distroyed in Afghanistan.One more advice put some little buddhas in your home beside Jesus.

There is a lot of things like killing Jews and innocent people in the name
of Christianity that is not of God .There is a whole big difference in Having True Faith In Jesus and Letting Jesus change the way you live.
It does not please God when someone dies without experiencing the
Grace of God and being Born-Again.Anybody that takes a life in cold blood is not doing what God told them to.
