How Come There Aren’t Any Jesus Statues Around?

The reason why I ask is because it seems that many asian countries have statues of Buddha or something. I know there are statues of Jesus in some churches, but I’m talking about very large out door monumental sized statues. Thanks.

If you look at any European, North American, or South American country, you will not find statues of Jesus everywhere, but you will find crosses everywhere. We have crosses all over the place! Many people also wear crosses as jewelry. Its not that we have no visual representation of our beliefs, its simply that we have different visual representations of our Christian beliefs.
There are in fact many large public statues of Jesus.

The U.S. was settled early on primarily by puritans and similar protestants who thought statues of Christ were a little too much like idols.
There are some large public Jesus statues in the U.S. but usually the cross symbol is used instead.
Because God forbids this. He said we must not make a statue or an idol with our own hands, but to worship God by faith and by believing in His written Word.
The only statue that is allowed in the kingdom of God, is the one that says, ‘is dat you’
1 John 5:21 ‘Little children, guard yourselves from idols’
Thou shalt have no other idols before me. It’s a rule. Except the catholics don’t follow it, and the atheists won’t let you anyway.

Because Jesus doesnt care about material wealth, besides statues are a load of crap.

Jesus statues are all over Latin america, and virgin mary statues too
