I have been gifted a large laughing buddha statue and would like to know where I should keep it in my home to receive the right energy according to feng shui

Anywhere you feel comfortable with.Buddhists are not superstitious.
I would have to come see your home, to get the feel, of where to place your Buddha.
That one you got me. Do you keep your toilet lid closed? Have a living plant to your right in the main entry way?… Check on the net about feng shui. Glad someone else believes in it. My previous neighbor is from Taiwan & taught me a lot. I moved to a small town in Texas & look at me like I’m crazy
a laughing buddha cannot attract good energy. but if you have to put an altar for chinese divinities, i know that they always face north. then you need to put a chinese compass or luo pan (facing the right directions) below the cup that is filled with ashes and holds the incense sticks. a good god to place here is usually the money god. though fengshui is not about these. it is not about worshipping gods. not even using the statues. this is just what most chinese practice.

i think north, sees all, sun rising and setting.
