Looking At A Buddha Statue’s Peaceful And Compassionate Face, Can You Actually Imagine Him Screaming In Hell?
remember this old joke:Buddha and Ben Franklin are in hell because, you know they’re not christians. Ben had just gotten there and had ended up next to Buddha and they were standing waist deep in excrement. They talked a bit and Ben said, “Hey once you get past the stink it’s not that bad”. Buddha flashed him a beautific smile and closed his eyes. Suddenly the devil was standing on a ridge nearby and said, “All right everybody, breaks over back on your heads.”
I thought that in hell we are supposed to be poked with flaming pitchforks by demons for not having “faith”. And we burn and burn and start to smoke and the pain is unending and there’s not the relief of dying like people that die in a burning building or a car crash.
This is what we’re told. This is what children have learned for 1500 years, they are told over and over about hell and all the tortures.
It is so nice to see people are finally civilized and logical enough to not believe this anymore, except the people who give me a thumbs down becasue they want so badly to believe it’s true. Thomas Jefferson has been dead for 180 years now. For all the good he did… for all of us ….his comments about clergy and totalitarians arm in arm thru the centuries is what landed him in Christian prison. I guess he’s still screaming huh for his punishment. Please Christians-don’t you get it, we think you are idiots (no Offense)

lol no, and he’s not. the Buddha has reached Nirvana and is with ‘God’ so-to-speak. The Buddha is more spiritual and more enlightened than any person on earth.
hehe, the likeliness of Buddha screaming in hell is about the same as Jesus screaming in hell. (ooh, that ought to earn me some thumbs down)
Looking at Buddha’s statue it is hard for me to believe that he was a deadbeat dad. But, he was. He forsook his wife and kids to ‘find his own path’. Beliefs and imaginations are likely to be real only if based on reality.

The statue is just a representation. How do we know he even looked like that?
As for the Buddha’s soul, we shall leave that up to God. No one can judge but Him.
