muslim thugs blasted 2 ancient buddh statues in afganistan. can you name me even 1 buddhist who in revenge blasted a mosque or harressed a muslim?

As a Buddhist,I don’t understand your intention in asking this question in such an angry tone.
The statures were destroyed by the Taliban who happened to be of the Muslim faith.It has nothing to do with Muslim.The Taliban were a misquided lot that destroyed their own heritage.
Buddhist viewed the statures as it is(piece of rock),no attachment to it.

I believe the reason Given by the Taliban spokes person was that there was a grant of 50 Million offered by the Dutch Governament to restore the Statues . Afghanistan was in the middle of a drought ( a pretty serious one ) at the time and the Afghan Government requested humanitarian food aid instead and was denied that and they held council and decided the Buddhas were there being given more importance them the millions of live people suffering and eating grass ( literally ! really !) and decided that the destruction of the Buddhas might bring world attention on their plight . which it did but in no way helped them .
Of course no Buddhists have blown up any mosques because lately Buddhism warriors have been wiped out by states in which they were located previously .
That is not the way of Buddha.
You are absolutely correct. I have never heard of a Buddhist, or some sort of mystic bombing a church, mosque, etc.
These acts are done by literalists who believe they have “THE WORD OF GOD” and everyone else is WRONG.
