The religion islam calls to recpect all other religions, and i don’t think thats what they’re really doing
i don’t know why the hell did they have to take off buddha but i guess they didn’t like him very much…

The way the Taliban were treating women, I would not label them as Muslim. Their extremist interpretation of Islam coupled with cultural practices that date back to the dark ages makes me wonder about their true agenda.
It is unfortunate that such cultural icons of civilization like the Buddha statues would be destroyed by these barbarians. Just like it was very unfortunate for U.S. troops to go into Iraq and guard oil wells while allowing the looting of some of the most ancient Babylonian artifacts.
Both the Taliban and the U.S. administration make Ghingis Khan look like an angel.

Do you think that Moslims are just represented by taliban!!
There are about 1300 million Muslim people in all over the world and many of them rejected this taliban behaviour.

Unfortunately Muslims were really wicked to the Indians, Buddhist and Hindu alike, for a very long time there. There were land disputes (which resulted in India giving up Pakistan), and of course religious dispute. The Muslims thought the Hindus/Buddhists were wrong in their faith, and the two religions were just like: “huh? What’s going on? Oh wait, no we’re good too!” But it was too late.
I don’t think the Muslims are bad, nor is Islam bad, but there has been so much fighting between them and India for it to stop all of a sudden. They still have a sort of war between the two going on, although it is dying down. I think it’s just picking up because the Muslims are feeling especially persecuted, and I can’t really blame them. Although blowing up statues is really a petty thing to do, I doubt REAL Muslims would care to do that.
