Whenever I See Statues Of Buddha He Is Fat. Does This Mean That The Way To Remove All Desire Is To Eat A Lot?
Or are the sculptors just being ironic?

The symbols are like the EXACT same, except the Nazi symbol is tilted… Here’s the Chinese ‘peace symbol’: http://www.act.com.sg/dominion/images/sw…
I was in a store and a Buddha statue had that same Chinese, (I think it’s supposed to be a peace symbol) on it.

… I’m guessing the Chinese had the sign first for years and years and the Nazis took it and made it backwards or something… Do you know anything about this?
You know when you see in movies, Asian people praying to this little corner in the room, that has burning incense, usually a framed photograph of someone that has passed away, candles, or sometimes a statue of Buddha. What is this called?
I don;t have good pictures of the statue but I know the details on it. It was giving to my Great Grandfather on is wedding which was given to my grandfather on his wedding, then to my mother on her wedding, which I inherited it on my wedding. The statue was in my home in a glass casing and was taken with several other valuable items. For insurance purposes I don;t know how to actually put a value on it since I don;t have the statue nor can I find anything online that is to the T with what I had. Here is the information on what I had:
